The St Paul’s Girls’ School (SPGS) Mandarin HSK Course is an after-school language learning course to introduce year 8 and year 9 students to Chinese language and prepare them for an accredited qualification. The HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) test is the official qualification in Chinese language proficiency for non-native speakers. The course will be delivered by our Lead Teacher of Mandarin with the help of SPGS students studying IGCSE Mandarin. SPGS will provide text books and work books for all participating students. Students will be expected to complete practice assignments in their own time between sessions in order to make progress towards the HSK qualification.
