The Start it Summer Entrepreneurship Course is a great way to kick-off your summer and add to you CV, with 250+ students attending from over seven West London Partnership schools. This year’s judging panel features Dame Cilla Snowball, Francesca Warner, Jessie Frahm, and Paul Traynor, and they will be expecting the very best in student business ideas and Dragons’ Den-style presentations. Those interested in applying will be able to do so up until the extended deadline of the 17th June, so make sure you register soon with your teacher to avoid missing out!

Monday January 24th – Professor Susie Speller (professor of materials science at Oxford) talk at 4:15pm, entitled “Making a sun in a freezer” on superconductors for fusion energy plants.
Monday January 31st – Professor Jerome Gauntlett from Imperial College speaking on “black holes and string theory” 12:30pm.
These talks are suitable for students studying or interested in physics in years 9-13.
