Due to continued interest and high demand from the student body, we have chosen the theme of Entrepreneurship for this event which will be taking place on Monday 26 January at 5pm in the Singing Hall.
We are excited to be hosting a panel of Old Paulina entrepreneurs from a range of industries, including health tech, fashion, tech/AI and the arts. Some of our speakers previously worked in investment banking and private equity, including roles at firms such as JP Morgan, before becoming an entrepreneur.
The evening will run in a BBC Question Time–style format, with panelists sharing their personal journeys to becoming an entrepreneur, why they chose to leave traditional finance careers, and what it is really like to build a business from the ground up. They will also talk about the skills they use every day, how to get started, and ways students can gain experience or explore entrepreneurial ideas while at school and beyond.
You will then have the chance to ask the panel your own questions and hear honest advice about life as an entrepreneur.
The guest speaker event will end at 6pm and then you will have the opportunity to stay on until 6:30 pm if you would like to meet the speakers in the Gallery at a drinks and canapes networking event.
