AI and Digital Technology for Senior Leaders & Middle Managers

Designed for current and aspiring leaders and managers across the education and public sector who want to engage confidently and critically with AI and digital technologies in their organisations.

Course Overview (45 min Webinars)

Suitable for both Pastoral and Academic Senior and Middle leaders, this certified professional development course equips managers with a micro-credential based on practical knowledge and tools to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology into strategic thinking and operational practice. Delivered through a series of 45-minute interactive webinars, the course offers both foundational understanding and applied insights, with a strong emphasis on ethical leadership and digital transformation.

Please note – More than one middle or senior leader from each school may attend or share sessions and feedback to a working group within their own school to share best practice.

Course Structure (25/26)

This course will be run over three terms with 2 sessions taking place per term.

  • Introduction: The Basics of AI (Autumn Term)
  • Unit 1: Using AI to Save Time (Autumn Term)
  • Unit 2: Using AI to Enhance Practice (Spring Term)
  • Unit 3: Assessment in the Age of AI (Spring Term)
  • Unit 4: Ethics and Responsible Use of AI (Summer Term)
  • Unit 5: Guidance, Policies, and Strategic Planning (Summer Term)
  • Unit 6:  Final in person networking event with refreshments (Summer Term)
