January 24th – Professor Susie Speller (professor of materials science at Oxford) talk at 4:15pm, entitled “Making a sun in a freezer” on superconductors for fusion energy plants.
January 31st – Professor Jerome Gauntlett from Imperial College speaking on “black holes and string theory” 12:30pm.
These talks are suitable for students studying or interested in physics in years 9-13.
